Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest & Kids Ice Cream Contest

Stage Wisp Concert Series
6:30 pm - 9 pm, Wisp Resort. Come out and see the Wil Gravatt Band - some call it honky-tonk, some call it traditional country; no matter what you call it, it's real music folks can enjoy. These gentlemen country musicians and honky-tonk heroes have performed for two US Presidents and shared the stage with some country greats. Join them at Stage Wisp for some great entertainment.

Bonfire Extravaganza
Step back in time for storytelling, drumming, costumed performers and song & group dance participation. The original Sacred Fire - Sacred Drum Bonfire Extravaganza is like no other family entertainment offered anywhere. Park at the Deep Creek Lake State Park Discovery Center & follow the torches to the amphitheater. Free Face Painting at 8 pm for all ages. Marshmallow toasting winds up the evening (all toasting supplies provided). Bring lawn chairs, blankets & flashlights.

Dogsledding Presentation & Kennel Visits

Little Yough Summer Music Festival
7 pm, Oakand Town Parking Lot/Mountain Fresh Farmers Market. Bring a lawn chair and listen to the hot jazz and swing music of the Boiler Makers.

Music at Penn Alps Concert
7:30 pm, Windsor Hill in Cumberland. Abigail & Donald Evans with Alaine Fink will be performing the works of Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert & Gliere with Viola, Bass & Piano. Abigail is Assistant Principal Viola of the Natioal Symphony Orchestra, Donald is Associate Principal Bass of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Alaine is an active collaborating pianist performing in Pittsburgh, D.C. and New York.

Bust Largness Wakeboard Contest
7:30 am, on the water in front of High Mountain Sports. Check out the tri-state's best wakeboard talent at this Deep Creek Lake tradition! Come by boat or grab a seat on the shores of Traders Landing. Music, Fun & prizes.
